Hate is probably the most contagious thing on the face of this planet. As they have hated all of the West and Israel for 50 years running, now you are starting to see the hate reciprocated. I guess. However, I'm afraid all we are doing is playing right into their hate. Some of the pics we saw coming out of Fallujah were pretty grim. Can you imagine what the Muslims saw on their tv? Every negative thing we do is being magnified ten fold for them. There is no way we can win in this situation and look like heroes. Before 9/11, I was taught and always believed that Islam was one of the 3 great Abrahamic, foundational religions. Now, I hate what Islam stands for: fear, barbaric decapitations, terrorism, poverty, intellectual bankruptcy, 7th century Sharia law, women's rights abuses, despotic government, honor killings, problem resolution through murder (e.g. Van Goh in the Netherlands), etc. That's a pretty narrow view. It would be like someone only focusing on the Spanish Inquisition or the feud between the Prots and Catholics in N. Ireland. There are many positive things that come out of Islam. In the past couple of decades, I'm afraid we have seen only the bad.Welcome to the new world that the Muslims helped create. It's ugly and it will get uglier until they learn to live with the rest of us or until they are wiped out. Luckily, in this world, the Muslims are the 1 ounce fly and the Western countries are the 900 pound gorilla. Who do you think will win? A fly carrying the ebola virus could wipe out a whole family of gorillas. Don't under estimate the power of the underdog.
