It's frightening that the "authorities" are so incompetent that they can't do simple arithmetic.

If they can't count or divide, then it seems very improbable that they'll be able to do anything useful.

In which case it's best to assume it's going to be every man for himself and act accordingly.

Foreign-Made Flu Vaccines Heading to U.S.

MARK SHERMAN

Associated Press

WASHINGTON - The government said Tuesday that flu vaccine manufactured in Germany was safe enough to be used in the United States and that as many as 4 million doses would be available to alleviate the U.S. shortage.

Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson said the government was immediately buying 1.2 million doses of the vaccine, called Fluarix, which will be available this month, and said British manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline had agreed to make about 3 million more doses available later.

Hi Henry, reposting my question here:

What do you think about the man in France that caught Avian flu while in Vietnam?

So does this mean the flu outbreak will start, or did he get it from animals? Can he spread it to people? If so, isn't this the pandemic that WHO has been warning about?

Thank you for your time and for sharing your knowledge.

Regards,
Amy J
