JHR,

NT is having an up move within a downtrend. Money flows are very weak. This is where one should sell into the short term strength.

LU is correcting in an uptrend. You've got very good money flows and LU is a buy on the dip.

The difference between the two is NT is showing a little strength in a down trend, which means you sell the rallies.

LU is correcting in an uptrend which means you buy the dips.

The trend is the key. You must know whether your stock is in an uptrend or a downtrend. You use a different strategy for each situation.

And, this is important ..... my time frame for these holdings is long term. When looking for a long term hold, it's even more important to be sure the trend is on your side.

NT makes a better short term trade of late, I think LU makes a better LT trade.
