GLW unloaded their photonics biz, significantly cut back on their fiber optic biz, but remain dedicated to F/O and its future usage. They have excess production capacity in F/O but are running one plant at about 1/2 capacity. F/O prices have held and demand has actually picked up YOY. nothing like the sky rockets of 99-01, but.... larry BTW, they completely unloaded their consumer products division several years ago - that made corelle, etc.
