The nerds actually do the stuff that matters and the tough guys rule the roost. Arnie gets to be Governor of California though there really aren't many real-life requirements for "I'll be back!" Square-jawed soldiers look good in movies. The man in the white lab coat is a bore. The glory goes to the physical and tribal fighters. So do the resources. Somehow a bug is less scary than an AK47-armed jihadi, although one jihadi can kill maybe 100 whereas one bug can slip inside, breed and kill 50 million. Yet the bug isn't impressive and neither are those who would defeat it. Mqurice
