1.2 million is the number of Arabs inside the entire Mandate of Palestine according to the British census of 1947. I was talking about Gaza alone, specifically about the refugee population of Gaza. You are confused, to put it mildly. This also makes a nonsense of the figures you put out in 2, 3, and 4. If you are going to make population estimates you have to start with the right figures.

The PA puts out figures of 6 - 7 births per married women for the West Bank and Gaza together. I have read that it higher for Gazan refugees, about 9 - 10 births per woman, but I cannot find a breakout of those figures at the moment. As I said before, it is probably higher on paper than it is in reality because there is money attached to babies in UNWRA.
