re: Using Firefox to view SI posts having replies having...

Sun Tzu,

I think this thread "Welcome to Silicon Investor!" is a better place
than SI's "Computer Learning" thread for this discussion of browsers
that are available to read SI posts. Bob and Dave already have
another thread called "Questions and Answers with SI Admin (Bob)"
that might be better since its a Using SI type environment.

I'm using the Firefox browser at this moment, and tried what you posted
(the post this is a reply to) and was able to duplicate the Opera
Create Link feature, as follows:

From Tools menu select Options and select tab options
(or)
Truth Be Knowned :o) I couldn't figure it out that way,

so... luckly I found another way probably better.

When I'm at a post with Replies(n)
I right click mouse on the "n"
and select option: Open Link in New Tab

Now the replies are in a seperate window, and tabbed.

I can now repeat this on any replied posts having replies.

ok,
Identical to using Opera,
where doing a mouse right click on the "n"
I select option: Open in New Page
(with already having Opera do it "tab" thing)

but,
As Opera and Firefox both display and make available the tabs,
I was unable to figure out in Firefox how to have all the tabs
be displayed as mini-windows, tiled or cascaded.

I'm sure it can be done as people have mentioned doing it.

Hopefully others can join in this topic since using Firefox
rather than the horse & buggy Netscape & IE will make for a
better and more productive SI experience.

Ofcourse Bob and Dave's opinions are welcome here.
