Still, Jesus was a Liberal in his views regarding the poor compared with the mainstream judaic religious thinking of the time.
That religious thinking was the innovation against which the conservative Jesus struggled, much as I struggle against your oppressive innovation of murdering unborn children as an alleged human right.
Regarding His father, He's never, to this date, shown any "deference" to the poor, that is if your talking action and not just words.
Well, He sent His only begotten Son to die for them. There is no greater action than that.
Where's your good lord been to protect the poor from the two thousand years of christian and non-christian butchery we've been a witness to?
First of all, God tends not to do what we should do for ourselves. If He should, for example, tell us to love one another, not to murder, not to fornicate, not to commit adultery, etc., and should we in our arrogance ignore Him to do these things, then it is not really our place to blame Him when our sins cause misery for ourselves and/or others; and we have no right to demand He do anything about anything. We should first and foremost ask forgiveness, ask for His power to live as humans should, and then repent of evil.
Secondly, perhaps some who committed the sins to which you have referred were genuine Christians, but they perhaps were themselves amongst the poor, both materially and otherwise. Believers exist on this earth in different stages of spiritual maturity. Some of them err more than others and as a result are chastised more. When they suffer as a result of their sins, it is not for them or you heathens to demand God deliver them. He may quite easily have a plan for them and wishes to allow them to suffer so that they might next time realize how critical it is that they live properly. The real marvel is that despite His allowing their suffering, if these sinners truly claimed the Son as their own, the Father listened to His Son successfully advocate on their behalf so that despite their sins on this earth, they were forgiven.
Thirdly, many others, perhaps the lion’s share of those who committed the sins you’ve mentioned, never were Christians at all, though they claimed to be. They were like so many heathens of today who, though claiming to be Christian, defend as a human right the right to murder children simply because the children are still in the womb. When these sorts of folks sin and create misery, God often just lets them wallow in themselves, so that they lose all concept of decency. They become so lost in evil that evil appears good to them. They even defend as an acceptable right such things as delivering children up to their heads and then puncturing the backs of the little ones' heads so that murderers might suck out their brains. And as these self-described "Christians" defend this, those to whom they give their defense are not in the least filled with horror, so corrupted their minds have become by evil. At best these people may reject the defense of this brand of murder while ‘understanding that good people can accept it.’ With each of these responses, even with the latter response, these alleged "Christians" are all being condemned. You have no authority to demand that God should do otherwise.
Lastly, you undoubtedly wish to ridicule God because you think He did nothing while many innocents died as a result of the injustices you have in mind. Of course you have no authority to effectively ridicule a God Who has the Power to use injustice to bring innocent people to Himself. When an innocent person is murdered, God is not idle, though to your wicked mind He may appear to be. The murder helps condemn the unrepentant murderer while releasing the innocent person from having to further endure the same frame of reference as shared by people who can so coldly take his life - this is, provided the person was truly innocent. Few are. The matter is greater than you can perceive.
Well you are doing a piss poor job of it, considering 30,000 kids die of starvation every day.
There are fifty times more of you spreading misery and death than there are of us defending the weak and spreading love. There are three hundred times more of you abandoning your children than there are of us feeding them. Indeed, if we believers were all simply to focus only upon healing the carnage, misery, deception and death you heathen "choicers" spread in the lives of frightened young women in abortuaries, far more than 30,000 children would starve a each day. We are not to blame for the deaths of the children. You are. We are simply doing the best we can to love what you have rejected, and there are just not enough of us to go around.
You are living in your own personal historical dark age I see.
I am living in your dark age, and shinning light into it – which is why you recoil from me.
Geez, you sound more convinced than Jesus does in certain scriptures.
Well that is only because heathens really cannot understand the Scriptures. |
