BINGO! I was thinking of Linksys too. Of course, that's the consumer market, but it is inevitable that commoditization will move from the edge inwards over time. Cisco's game will be to outinnovate the trend to stay ahead of the commoditization curve. They've been successful for a very long time, but we're about to move into a hypercompetitive stage where competition will be an order of magnitude more intense.

If that were true, in which quarter did CSCO's margins suffer from the amazing price pressure Linksys applied to CSCO's products? Hmmm, no quarter seems to exist where that happened.
