CSCO Issuance of Common stock mindmeld, I'd appreciate your assist in understanding this line item in the Shareholders' Equity statement. For FY02 thru FY04 the shares of common stock is exactly the sum of ESO shares and ESPP shares. FY Issued shrs ESO shrs ESPP shrs ESO+ESP diff 2004 122MM 96MM 26MM 0MM 2003 68 45 23 0 2002 76 54 22 0 cisco.com AR (not pdf) pages 41, 59, and 58 However for FY98 thru FY00 there were significant differences.
