Change happened when they were bought out. Most likely IMO, If that so happens again. For the workers, the change will most likely be for the worse. One of the first cost saving measures a consolidation usually goes through, is the elimination of overlap, to save costs. The acquiring company will also more than likely change the cost structure to enhance profits. As far as making more money for ones self. That change is very hard to see in the for profit corporate world. <G> I'm fairly sure your thoughts are in the major majority. In the corporate world. There are still some who would seek a legacy for themselves, than think about the shareholders first.
