You never asked him to thank you. If it meant that much to you, you could have. I suspect he would return the favor out of courtesy.

Neither do I and nor do I live in his State, but I thanked him anyway. The guy wanted to be thanked - is it that hard to extend politeness.

I see a lot of posters on this thread do name-calling, so I've stopped criticizing people for name-calling, unless they name-call to me.

I never name-call posters, but let's take a look at how some posters write to me, even though I never name-call:

"Amy, you're off your rocker."
"stupid"

Think a little bit about how you do name-calling to a poster that never does name-calling.
