The fact that you quote that twit Carlson rather diminishes your point. I am not a product of Liberal Bias. I am a card carrying conservative. There's only one democrat in my family that I am aware of, and he voted for Bush in this election. But then again he works for an arms manufacturer so perhaps he's a little biased at the moment. All the Republicans in my family, smart folks that they are, voted against Bush. Every single one, including ex military. In print there is more of a bias towards thinking; on FOX a bias away from honest intellectual thought - its negative boosterism at the worst. And don't even talk to me about most "talk radio" - its positively disgusting stuff, right wing rants that embarasses me. Right-wing-nuts infest conservative politics but right-wing-nut views are most certainly not conservative views.
