She was simply trying to illustrate her point that, if we use our heads we can make it work even in the most extreme cases. If we don't it doesn't matter what kind of power consuming vehicle we use. She did not seem to be 'recommending' Hummers. Quite to the contrary, she was very articulate at describing our alternatives and strategies for getting there. I would love to see it addressed to a more general audience. In fact if anything should be forced into our school curriculum ... this should be. Of course, I am not recommending you remove, 'Johnny has Two Moms' in lieu of this... but it does seem that we should find a place for it on our priority list.
