Yes. I see your point. However, the state has no power that not granted it by the people and we the people are actively engaged in change and renewal on an on-going basis. So, I find the label Fascist to be a mis-application when you use it to describe the US government.

The world is shrinking and as a result one catalyst for our relationship with the other peoples of the world is that we can no longer view any region as populated by people who have no stake in what we do and visa versa.

Our enemies understand that, which is why Osamma has been so bold in his declaration about what he wants to see happen to western civilization.

We are in this thing for the duration ... get used to it.
