Tejek,

King Christian X was a brave man and neither legally nor in his heart was he part of the appeasement clique running Denmark's state affairs during WW II. Sure enough, not all Danes agreed with the government and its fair enough of you to mention examples of that.

As for Raoul Wallenberg, one of my favorites for more reasons, he as other fellow Swedes did their best to help as did the Swedish authorities around the end of WW II. As a native Swede I am proud of that. But as I pointed out, most of that took place after Stalingrad.

Incidentally my father met RW several times and I have a great photo of them both dated shortly before he was murdered in Israel.
Also I personally happened to know his cousin Nita Wallenberg quite well back in the 60s, she had the most remarkable collection of original art by her former fiancee and big love Nils von Dardel.
