Which Gods?

Zeus, Aphrodite, Demeter, Hera, Apollo, Dionysus,
Athena, Poseidon, Hermes, Hephaestus, Ares, Artemis, Pan, Hestia, Hades, Hebe, Heracles?

"When you are motivated to give money to a homeless person, is that because there is something wrong with you?"

It could be, it could also be compassion, love or fear, i.e. there but for the grace of the above Gods go I...

"So God can't have emotions?"

That is correct. The idea is childish.

"But emotions also come from excess"

But GOD cannot have excess. There is nothing beyond God. God cannot be motivated because God is EVERYTHING. :-)

If God regrets, cries, or murders...He is obviously not EVERYTHING!

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[1] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

You are a child.

No. It is not necessary that you be "wrong" or "sick" to be kind or giving. Sane and good people give to the unfortunate on a consistent basis.
