12:23 AMD Advanced Micro comments at CSFB Tech Conference (22.75 +0.14) During the AMD presentation at the CSFB Tech Conference, the co stated the following: 1) Highlighted flash business, suggesting it is doing well; 2) Management noted profitability has been at a decent clip for the year with improved gross margins in the last 5 qtrs; 3) MPU business is significantly higher than its 40% gross margins; 4) Priority is servers, continues to penetrate this space with the co projecting market share gains from form zero to 10% from a unit perspective exiting the year; 5) In desktop, management noted it controls the gaming world and suggested competitor's product is virtually nonexistent; 6) Co noted it can compete in the NAND and NOR flash space and will maintain its presence in NOR and over time will be top player in overall flash market; 7) Q4 is the best qtr for co, projecting 8-15% unit growth.
