I enjoyed rereading my post. Thanks for finding it so I could see it again. Six years ago! Wow, a long time . . . The reason I am insisting on some rules of conduct at Feelies is that in the past there were huge wars between people who probably would have actually enjoyed each other in real life. What a waste of time and energy by some of the most brilliant people I have ever encountered, to spend it in absurd battles that hurt everyone! It wasn't worth it for me to come back unless I could create an interesting thread where everyone felt reasonably safe to post whatever their feelings were without becoming the target of vicious attacks. That's why I instituted some basic terms of use for Feelies. I have posted many thousands of times at SI, and I am sure there are many posts you could have found that are a lot more interesting than that one, in many ways . . . That doesn't make me a hypocrite. It makes me someone who grew up and learned (I hope) some lessons along the way. I have never pretended to be perfect. In any event, you were about to be banned here because you didn't retract your last set of insulting and utterly untrue statements about me, and you've just added another one, so I don't think it's going to work out for you to stay here. Bye!!!
