Friedman used to be quite popular around here, when he was a war advocate. Now, of course, he's just another "liberal", subject to the usual ad hominem attacks that anybody who doesn't profess faith in W gets.

As big as the mess in Iraq is, it ain't nothin compared to the fiscal mess W is making. I imagine the buck on that one will stop somewhere in the vicinity of the Iraq buck too, in official W "personal responsibility" style.
