Your statement that the World sighed collectively..in relief that Dan Rather had announced his retirement. That's a powerful statement...THE WHOLE WORLD ? I seriously doubt that. If you are going to criticize me for an opinion on the basis of your assumption that I did not read the piece inferring that less respect would be forthcoming, may I also admonish you to not speak for the entire world. That shows a lack of comprehension that other's do not agree with your opinion nor analysis. I happen to like and have liked Dan Rather. I will miss him. I will sigh with relief when the likes of Hannity,Limbaugh,Reilly, North and others of that ilk who are so biased they cannot come up with a scintilla of truth( most of the time... ) announce their retirement.

You are welcome to your opinion. The world sighed collectively in relief that Dan Rather Biased had finally announced his retirement. The stock of Tom Browkaw's network increased when his biased self announced his retirement. Compared to the collective output of the big five liberal former mainstream media Peggy Noonan is a moderate. This is one the silliest statements I have ever heard you make. Not only did GE's [the parent co. of NBC] stock not go up, but in all the time I've watched him, I've never known what Brokaw's political stance was. He was about as fair a journalist as I've come. And compared to guys like Hannity, Rush and O'Reilly, he's a saint. Liked I've said before........for you, if it ain't far right, then it must be left.
