Kt, she never was, just the easiest lay on the White House lawn according to those who might have known. <g>

As for the other guy ...

Don't know him, but Pierre Burton died last night at age 84. A great non-historian, you probably know of him.

His last public appearance a month or two ago was on the afore-mentioned Mercer's latest show, where he demonstrated the proper way to roll a joint to all us young 'uns ... talk bout the greatest generation! <g>

I was once mistaken for Pierre T. by some Canadians, in a very dimly-lit bar in Key West. I add that to being repeatedly mistaken for a sales person in Big Lots and being mistaken for a Jesuit priest in front of the tomb of Ignatius Loyola (Il Gesu church, Rome). Also, at my grandmother's funeral, some people thought I was the undertaker.

Is there a common denominator?

No one has ever got me confused with Jerry Lewis.
