I'll take my chances.

With eleven million hunters beginning hunting season as we speak, it is a matter of some urgency that they be warned about possible dangers of field dressing deer/elk or eating venison. Cooking mad cow or mad deer meat does not make it safer to eat.

Until cattle in feed lots are stopped being fed a high protein mulch of other ruminants mad cow disease will continue to increase. Range raised beef is still a pretty safe bet except that no consumer can tell what they're buying.
