A shame the cheaper alternatives that require less frequent consumption like XTC, THC, and GHB are not as readily available -g-

More seriously, does anyone stop to think about the future of a sedated nation?

So now you load with drugs pretty much every kid who is a bit too active or anti-social, in the hope of pulling them back to the norm. The catch is that your geniuses will probably be DIFFERENT from that norm by definition (Einstein couldn't speak properly until he was eight, Mozart was manic by most accounts, etc) and by numbing them from an early age... well, you are destroying what makes them unique.

Even the normal kid who goes through a rebellious and/or depressed puberty is being more frequently drugged. So what now we intend to abolish puberty??? Or even all anxiety, loss, destruction, unhappiness? How exactly is the character of a person supposed to be formed, if not through experiences and the hurt as well as the joy they bring???

I have nothing against an adult who wants to drug himself silly, but drugging kids should be a crime, imho.
