hot boxes don' t matter unless you are a master salesman like Andy who can offload his designs to somebody who is positioned rather poorly vis a vi products that people are buying. IT geeks don't buy stuff cuz its 20% faster than somebody elses stuff. they buy things for a variety of reason. they buy NOT to get fired. they buy cuz somebody has a cuter salesgal taking them to lunch. etc. this is why video conferencing will never kill corporate travel. and that is HUMANS are gonna do what they gonna do...in this case, visit their mistresses in New York when presenting at CIBC. visiting your MISTRESS virtually just won't cut it. I will make a prediction. sun micro will be down at LEAST 20% next year.
