I think I may know where my train went the wrong way....
As I now understand it, you'll be adding a field/s, not removing ticker symbols from existing thread headers, unless requested. Correct? Because, there are threads where the original ticker remains, and this matters. One ticker which comes to mind off the top of my head is FCL, not its original ticker, which is obvious from the first post. Both changes are important, if one were to search back for what not...

I'd leave tickers within headers alone, unless requested by originator.
