He doesnt believe that you mean it and you dont believe he is a patriot and thats part of the problem. If we remove the rhetoric, i think the thinking of folks on both sides in many cases is converging. As i said to neo, i will follow the company line to january and then reevaluate whether we should be: a. sending more troops a la lugar and biden b. keep fighting as we are now a la rummy c. exit date and acceptance of alternate outcomes viewed in a more positive light. If the situations appears to me as it does now in january, i will vote C.
