Sam, the effect of exchange rates on SNDK is likely to be mixed. Remember that the main factory for SNDK flash memory is in Japan, and the value of the yen is rising against the dollar. What benefits SNDK is the increasing amount of sales in Japan and Europe and other parts of the world where local currency values are rising against the dollar. That means the value of sales and/or royalty revenues may rise as a result of foreign exchange translation gains.

One issue we haven't discussed on this thread is the effect, if any, of SNDK shares looking cheaper to investors in hard currency countries. We could see some acquisition of SNDK shares by foreign interests, which would result in the shares being priced more in line with growth in earnings.
