Hefei Industry University Successfully Developed the Second Generation of EV Made in China

The second generation of EV made in China developed by Hefei Industry University will be manufactured and completed next month, which can run more than 150km after charged. The whole EV body is very modern and really imposing with advanced installations including air conditioners and good acoustics. It is reported that the technique is in the leading position in China at present.

Doctor Zhang Bingli in Vehicle and Traffic Engineering Department of Hefei Industry University said, ¡°The characteristics of the new EV based on the first generation are to use MH/Ni batteries as power sources, lighter weight than before, motors with only about 20Kg and 150Km running per charge which can meet city travel. If the running distance reaches 250Km per charge, the EV can be used as taxi.¡±

It is reported that a batch production of the second generation of EV put into market will need period of time.
