Partly because I believe failing to do so is less than honest, and in this particular case, mainly because I'm reasonably certain I made a mistake. Since I've yet to discover the magic secret for never being wrong, having some kind of system for catching errors is about the best I can do. I'd probably call it a continuing process of due diligence, but there are probably times when "arguing against myself" isn't that far off. In this case however, the debate is with someone other than myself. <g>
