And I am just pointing out that "tradition" is very self-serving when it comes to how Christ is presented. He was NOT a king. He was as far from a king as it is possible to be. That is important because it is part the entire point of his existence.

In John's gospel he mentions that Pilate had a titulus placed on the cross. Commonly abbreviated as 'INRI', it said 'Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews'.

The writer of Hebrews compares Christ to the priest-king of Salem.

And there is the verse Handel used in his Messiah, "king of kings and lord of lords". Surely you've heard that many times.
