How did we "encourage" the rampant torture our POWs suffered in the first Gulf War.....??? If you think Abu Gharib changes anything in that regard....you are sadly mistaken..... Do you recall what happened to the SF guy who fell out of the helicopter in Afghanstan and into the hands of the enemy...? The bottom line is that we play by the rules and those who break the rules get punished.....there is no such honor among the enemy..... J.
