we can no longer assume the Muslims living within our midst are peace-loving

A very dear female friend of mine, born and raised in Israel with a dual British and Israel citizenship told me about the difference in living in Tel Aviv (where she lives now again) and in London (where she lived for 13 years):

When she gets back to London in the summertime she catches herself in always looking over her shoulder, watching suspicious characters and always being on the alert for an unexpected attack from behind...

Her friends asks her what is wrong with her and, well that is the difference from living in our society or over their. So far at least that is. Now that seems to be changing and this is exactly what the purpose of this whole Islamic crusade seems to be. Sorry to say so Elroy, but I believe this is a war and Bush is right in saying so. Or at least it is very similar to Munich and Chamberlain times and we better learn a lesson from what happened back then from lack of action.

Which tells us that we can no longer assume the Muslims living within our midst are peace-loving, socialized, well-meaning citizens of our communities. That's not politically correct, but someone has to recognize the threat that exists and name it. Only then can we deal with the threat.

I guess we best round them up and put them in camps until the war on terror is over. Do you even wonder why we rounded up the Japanese Americans, and put them in camps, and did not do that with the German Americans?
