...many people just refused to believe that this kind of unpractical* evil could exist* I allowed myself to add "unpractical": because it was, nothing anybody wanted to know at the time because it would - or at least should - have had dire consequences of action (not taken)... I mean, the allies already knew 1944 from a Hungarian fugitive of Auschwitz what was going on and decided to ignore it, right? After the war, especially the losers of it were alleged to have known without taking action. The other side, well that was another issue. But we are losing the track here, let's get back to the current problem, which is serious enough. Taro
