The Weather Underground operated in the late '70s and early '80s, not during Vietnam. Furthermore, opposition to the government's foreign policy is no excuse for robbing banks and armored cars, shooting security guards and policemen, and planting bombs. What's worse, though, is that she apparently never expressed any remorse for her actions. In fact, she said something to the effect that they should have killed more - that they were only caught because they weren't brutal enough. Second chances are for REFORMED criminals, Grainne. Of course, I'm arguing with someone who advocates the killing of hunters so they can't hunt any more, so it doesn't surprise me that you are OK with this woman teaching our youth.
