During the auto bust of the late 70s, I recall homes would normally sit on the market for at least one year and sometimes even two years. Anything less than one year was considered excellent and rare. I don't recall a single home selling within 90-days.

When one of the homes sold after "only" 6 months, people said the downturn was over and breathed a sigh of relief.

Just a little perspective. Things could get a lot worse.
