Re Exocet vs. Carrier - It would take 3-4 getting through to do real damage (need to take out BOTH catpults launchers), take out radar systems and aircraft elevators, etc.

Might sink with 3 if you were lucky.

Current US Carriers are REALLY BIG.

Trick is to get a hit. Phalanx (anti-missle guns) will nail about 50% or better...
