As I said the Republicans are the superior politicians right now but they are also incredibly cynical in the way they go about it. I've heard it said that democracy is doomed because the party that promises the voters the most stuff over doing what is best for the voters is the one that will win. Right now, with tax cuts for instance, the Republicans are giving the most stuff. But when one considers the size of the deficit are tax cuts for the rich really the best thing for the country?
