We truly must live in a different world. There is really no doubt that the religious right and the Republican government in power dominate our media. I suspect that the reason reporters gave Bush such a pass--full of softball questions in interviews and relatively very few investigative pieces on him and his administration--is that they were leaning over backwards to be fair against a very deliberate, concerted effort by the right to smear the media by saying it has a liberal bias.
