There is too evidence that the explosives were still there, much better evidence than there is for the endless ridiculous "speculation" by W's faithful propagandists. On the larger front, in a war that was allegedly about WMDs, at least at the marketing level, we have the question of why the war marketeers couldn't be bothered to come up with a plan for securing the best known WMD sites, where large quantities of stuff was known to be stored, under UN seal.

I think it all has something to do with the one true formulation of "personal responsibility" that the never-mistaken, never changing war president and his faithful live by, where the buck is sure to stop anywhere but his vicinity.
