You know its true that you cannot blame the Democrats for the current deficit.

Clinton had the books balanced.

Bush has cut taxes, started an unnecessary war and kept spending up as much as Johnston ever did. Result? Huge DEFICIT.

The Republicans are no longer the party of fiscal responsibility.

Republicans love Jesus, they love the rich, they love big government, they love big corporations, they love pork barrel and they love to be at war - they do not give a damn about the economy however - at least not enough to curb their other enthusiasms.

Unfortunately that deficit is going to do the average American way way more harm than any terrorist is going to do.

Bush just doesn't do good government - it's not his thing.

You never heard of the New Deal, eh? Great Society?

You're really pathetic. You have to go back 40 years and 70 years to find a major Democrat program that was passed into law. That is friggin ancient history. You are a joke! When those programs were passed there was no deficits to speak of. But you have to ignore present day because what I am saying is true. Republicans have broken the bank handing out tax cuts and upping military spending since 1968. The deficits today are all from military spending and Republican tax cuts. That's the hard truth. That's why I have abandoned the Republican party. It's all been a big lie. And you are one of the big "head in the sand" know nothings on SI. Bush has given us Dept of Homeland Security (Gestapo) which just start up costs was 30 billion in the first appropriation. Now he's pushing for the Intelligence reorganization bill which will cost more untold billions to execute. And never a look by Bush at the red ink. Just spend spend spend on Bush's new police state. Forget great society. Bush is creating the new Police Society.

New Deal was fair and balanced....
President Chimps "Deal" is no deal at all. It's a cash grab for the rich and his buddies. It's a cash cow for Haliburton and the rest of the wretched military industries. None of his "deal" has any positive effect on wealth and welfare for the average "Joe". Chimp's "deal" has a fundamentalist objective of bankrupting govt. and forcibly removing entitlements from the vulnerable. Chimp wants to take away Granny's SS cheques. Chimp is an uncaring moron who's in the pockets of the corporate welfare pigs.
