Yes but if we can forgive Newton we should cut Prechter a little slack too, no?

How about Peyton Manning?

I am not into sports that much, just follow the headlines some. It is nice to see someone put their head and mind into what they do, stay away from drugs and getting into trouble, and succeed in a big way. Course his supporting cast ain't all that bad a bunch of guys either. Hope Dungy takes me all the way. Dungy seems like an okay guy too.

just a couple thoughts on that

1) One of the positives of EW is that it is "flexible". This of course can also be a negative as it allows one to rationalize ones positions somehow if the market is going the other way. Prechter's count that gold is in a Primary wave 4 correction has not been invalidated yet. Much like the extended rally in the general market now upward corrections can go on for a while. It does not mean that the bear is over.

2) Prechter is a long-term gold bull but like Wood and others is in the deflation camp. Based on negative sentiment towards the dollar at the current time being a IT dollar bull may be the right call.

I agree that gold is probably and hopefully in a new bull but IMO Prechter should not be respected for his contribution to the debate. The action in some gold stocks certainly makes his call more than possible.

The WHT/GG news is very interesting. That is a nice combination and it should stir things up a bit. Hope that the deal gets done without a lot of problems.
