I wonder if Our-Street.com was totally wrong about this....

"Despite disclosure by Owens Corning
(OTCBB: OWENQ) in their November 5th filing with the Securities and Exchange
Commission that the bankruptcy reorganization plan already favored by most
involved parties, will result in cancellation of all existing common shares of
Owens Corning stock, investors who were either ignorant of the fact or misled by
positive news announcements about ongoing operations and by message board hype
suggesting tort reform could save the stock, continued to drive the price of the
stock higher closing Thursday at $2.79, up $.48.

Kmart(KMRT) no one figured in the property value they had being high $ stuff,I think its about $100+/share now with the Sears(S) deal.I recall many shorts loading the boat at $1.20's short before a few reverse splits I hope but I'm sure a pile of that run was fueled by massive short panic covering,I'll bet the board room members on that thing were walking on cloud 9 after facing the flames of hell.Clasic wall street tales of death and glory,or in some cases glory and death.
