<There's nothing arrogant about leading others in the same direction.> Leading? The US is not "leading" anybody with its action in Iraq. Leadership is not exercised through the barrel of a gun. You are confusing the exercise of naked power with leadership. What we are seeing in Iraq is a failure of US leadership and the limits of our power to fill the leadership void we ourselves have created.
