Re: Wouldn't it be cheaper and wiser to just face our enemy, ask "Why?" and respond constructively? No, not if the business you are in is war-making. We now have the pathetic situation where millions of Americans see themselves as being dependent upon war-making as their road to prosperity. Take the profit out of war, and it would stop overnight. But that is the last thing a scoundrel like George Bush would have any interest in. For his family, war is good bidness.
