It has nothing to do with other countries not being prejudiced, it has to do with (at least on the part of this liberal) approaching problems in a rational way. If you don't see the world for what it is, then you can't deal with it effectively (evidence- our terrible planning in Iraq- talk about stupid, talk about ignorant- and talk about not understanding the region- WHEW!). So, seeing prejudice here and abroad is just fine- as long as what you are doing when you see it, is finding ways to work with the world, and in the world, and not just name calling. Know what I mean? I don't think you understand all the liberal people on the planet as well as you think you do. You make these very broad, completely un-nuanced statements in your posts. It's very offputting. I know you want very much to see liberals as hypocrites (those same liberals who say...)- it would be just as easy to make up posts about how conservatives are hypocrites- only it would be just as unfair. Neither group is monolithic. Neither group has a monopoly on the truth. There are plenty of hypocrites out there- but trolling for a fight here, about that subject, isn't going to be pleasant, is it? Instead, there will be defensive posts, and probably a significant number of liberal bashing posts, and nothing will be accomplished, except people here will be more antagonistic towards each other. Super. First you want liberals to be hypocrites on the death penalty. Now you want them to be hypocrites about prejudice. It's not like you are changing any minds here- well, except you are turning me off reading your posts. If that was what you had in mind, keep it up.
