while getting robbed in your house or even getting killed in that process by some weirdo is no "better" for the victim in person than for each of the 50 victims of a bomb blast in Iraq, yes, I still believe it is a different matter.
Multiply that by the numbers of incidents per month and try, just try to let that picture get to your brains the numbers..and let all of that get processed there.

But then again, it has always been a debate related to philosophy, if the total suffering is bigger with 100's of dead as opposed to just a few lives lost. If human suffering can be added up or not.
This also takes you into the importance of the society vs. the individual, communist vs existentialist and with that Kirkegaard valuation of human values, truly a subject for another thread.

Latest news: In Spain ETA exploded 7 bombs, nobody was killed.
In Iraq 7 bombs would most likely have killed aro 250 innocent bystanders, men, women and children. Minimum!

ETA called the local cops first so they could move out people from the bomb sites...

Are you still telling me that ETA and other non Muslim terrorists are no different??? How about compassion? Unknown to our Muslim criminals, not only when carving off the heads a woman and others who gave her life to improve on their life quality. Muslim blade macho, my friend.

I mean no differences? Apart from not sharing the same religion, besides not being supported by the masses and their Al Jazeera screen performing cheer leaders, besides not being canonized by their clerics and making it to heroism and fame for things well done against the infidel men, women and children...

ETA does not blow up their own people, they protect them while still trying to make their point. Are they criminals and terrorists? Sure. Do you see any difference? I doubt it.
