No doubt after this happens you can spend 2-3 hours on an 800 number serviced in India!

I've got problems with Comcast. It has been the same problem 3-4 times originating on the service and account management side. Periodically their software loses customers and botches their account settings on the ISP side. Each time a call center in India takes the call, they absolutely won't do anything if you have a firewall, they want us to plug and unplug the modem (I can ping the DNS but all web services are disrupted. Modem ain't the problem dude.) OBTW, I can't get into my mail account through the web either. Major SNAFUs.

Do they keep a record of the problem and fixes? No.
Do they have a fast track for skilled system users? No.
Are they using my labor to subsidize their substandard service? Yes.
Would I rather pay an extra $2 - 5 per month and be able to contact the local service hub? Yes.
