The forthcoming elections in Iraq will prove to be meaningless in the long run (and if the current streak continues - might as well prove meaningless in short run).

As far as UNSC resolutions that you so fondly talk of - it reminds me of "devil quoting the scriptures" (wish there was another way of putting it as certainly I don't want to refer you as devil as you are just a person with opposing view with whom I am engaging in a discussion)
