1919 Turkey: Mustafa Kemel begins takeover.

It is "KEMAL", not "Kemel", for starters.

Mustafa Kemal turned Turks AWAY from Islam, as anyone with a modicum of knowledge about the region's history knows very well.

Maybe you should try more qualified sources of information next time. Those who can actually spell the names of people they claim to know stuff about would be a good start.

Those attacks came from all sorts of groups with little to no ties between them. That is why this is more like a loose criminal conspiracy than a war. The longer that the Bush administration fails to see the true nature of the threat the longer we will be losing in a quagmire.

You really need better sources of info. First the claim that Fox News is closest to the true center and now this...I am losing faith in you. Why should nationalization of oil industry be seen as a terror movement? Have you actually looked at what BP was doing then? BTW, Reza Khan was adamantly against the clerics as was Kemal ataturk. There are more holes in that list than a fishing net.
